Forte4Renko Out Now! 20

Forte4Renko_Box_Large Since we developed Crescendo, years ago, we worked on improving its trading strategy performance and safety. ForteFX is an evolution of the original strategy and thanks to the multi-timeframe and multi-currency trend scores we’ve been able to improve overall performances. Now we made another step by taking our most successful strategy to no-time-based charts. Renko charts has been our choise for charting. And Heiken Ashi is our preferred indicator to be used with it.

forte4renko_on_renko_chart

Forte4Renko is the mix between ForteFX trading strategy, Renko noiseless charting and Heiken Ashi candles trend smoothing. The core of the trading strategy is the “trend score“. For Forte4Renko we developed 3 new algorithms to calculate it and they are based on:

  • Renko boxes (i.e. pure price action)
  • Heiken Ashi
  • Smoothed Heiken Ashi

The trend score is based exclusively on the chart the EA is trading on. No need to download long term historical data for different timeframes and currencies. The strength of a trend is simply calculated by counting the number of past “candles” that show the same direction, up to a number of 5. A candle may be a Renko box or an Heiken Ashi candle (smoothed or simple).

As an example in the screenshot above you can notice that there are 3 closed blue Smoothed Heiken Ashi boxes in a row (we don’t count the most recent one which is already forming), therefore trend score = +3 in this case (assuming the user has selected the trend score algorithm based on Smoothed Heiken Ashi). Thanks to the noise filtering of the Renko chart and to the smoothing of the HA indicator, the EA is able to trade the trend like never before. We putted all we’ve leaned so far with ForteFX into it. All the features (and even more) has been adapted to the new no-time-based charting. And we added some… for example now you can set the entry trend score filter for each single trade. If you like and trade with ForteFX, you’ll love Forte4Renko.

    Question:

I believe the default trading lotsize for this Forte4Renko is 0.01 for a standard account.
Can a user change this default to 0.10 lots or 0.50 lots ?

    Thanks in advance

    • Andrea Post author

Yes you can set the default lot size to whatever you want but you the higher it is the higher the profits and the risks.
We suggest, at least at the beginning, to start with small lot size and increase it as you get confidence with the EA and the account grows.
      Cheers,
      Andrea

Hello, this EA look great, would it be possible to have a forward test account for each of the 3 new algorithms to calculate the trend score? Is there anyone that you think will get better results?

    • Andrea Post author

      Hi Andre,
we are about to start a side by side comparison for all 3 the algos.
We still don’t know exactly which will be the one performing better as much depends on trend volatility and strength.
Probably, as often happens, there won’t be a best algo but a mix of them will be the best choice.
      Cheers,
      Andrea

    Question:

    Ok,
    my last question, before purchase…
I see that the SL and TP are “hidden” on MyFXBook. Is this the default? Can it be changed?

    Thanks in advance…

      Hi Tim,
for this account we are using Algo 0 but we just started forward account for the other two as well.
Later today I’ll publish them both.
      Cheers,
      Andrea

    hello again,
how many offline bars would be good to start trading? I noticed the bars for the offline chart goes up with higher time frame. For example, with GBPUSD 1min: 12 bars , 5 min: 29 bars, 1hr: 1180 bars. if we would trade one hour for example, would the trade be more accurate?
    thanks,
    André

      Hi Andre,

it depends on the algo you use. Algo 0 is the one that requires less bars as it is based on Renko bars only. The HA is the second in terms of bars requirement and SHA is the one that asks for more.

To understand if you have enough bars, in case of HA and SHA, simply apply the indicator to the chart and see if the indicators shows right.

In case you don’t have enough bars with 1M charts, then switch to 5M. Otherwise rise to 15M.

Consider that the timeframe of the chart generating the Renko one is relatively important only for the initial generation. After that any chart is the same as then the Renko bars are generated based on the data streamed from the live/demo server and no longer from historical data.

      I hope this helps 😉

      Cheers,
      Andrea

    Andrea,

Thank you , thank you, thank you….
I’ve noticed something very interesting of Forte4Renko. To date it’s completed 23 out or 23 wins
acrosss three pairs trading April 28 thru April 30th.

Your responses are clear, easy to understand and very factual.
So, I’m offically on board. Just purchased Forte4Renko.

    Thanks 4 the outstanding work.

Hello guys thanks for the new ea. having an issue though. For some reason the ea appears to get stuck. The trend score is not updating properly. If I refresh the ea or restart the platform then the correct score shows up. I didn’t notice it because the status bar shows it is running and the chart is moving. Also I am running hart on the same platform so had to make sure in setting the forte for Renko up the output on the Renko live chart pimped has to be changed from 2 to something else or it conflicts with the hart ea. any suggestions?

    • Andrea Post author

      Hi Chiffon,
      It’s not a conflict.
Someone is experiencing the same thing. Usually reapplying the template solves the problem but we are trying to understand why this happens and come out with a fix as soon as possible.
      Cheers,
      Andrea

    Andrea,

    I’m setup in demo.

Can you share exact parameters of the Forte4Renko – Algo 1 published in MyFxBook?
I hope to produce the same results in my demo account before firing up the LIVE account.

    Thanks in advance

Andrea, how are you buddy. I went to get the Renko EA for $99 as I got paid on Friday and the price doubled. Even right now it shows that it’s half price but the price is full. I would love to buy your product but cannot at $199. Please advise.

    Grazie ragazzi,

    Mark

    Hi guys,

I’m also having a problem with the EA getting stuck. I know I can reapply the template to resolve this, but it is troublesome to have to do it each time the EA gets stuck. Any idea when a solution will be available?

    Thanks,
    Tim
