PimpMyEA Migration to Build 600 – Part 3

Hi Everyone,
thanks for the great number of replies to our recent poll about “MT4 Build 600 Usage“. We are keeping the poll open for some time, but the number of replies is already enough for taking a decision about how to release the next updates of our products (more about that at the end of this post).

This post is the 3rd and final one for keeping you updated about the compatibility of our products with Build 600 and their eventual migration to the new platform (you can also read: “Part 1″ and “Part2″).

You can read below the last results of our testings on Build 600 – overall the testing on all the products was very satisfactory since 92% of our current software (compiled under Build 509) can run without issues on Build 600 and higher.

The following Custom Indicators compiled on Build 509 (the same versions that you can find in the respective download areas) were tested on Build 600:

  1. Cruscotto
  2. ForexDiver
  3. FuturoFX
  4. NuovaFXrequires a version compiled on Build 600
  5. SpaghettiFX

Also the following Expert Advisors compiled on Build 509 (the same versions that you can find in the respective download areas) were tested on Build 600:

  1. One4All_client  – requires a version compiled on Build 600
  2. One4All_server  – requires a version compiled on Build 600

As you can notice the only products that cannot run on Build 600 are NuovaFX and One4All. This is not a big issues at the moment because there are still ways to run MT4 Build 509. But sooner or later brokers will stop accepting connections from Build 509, that’s why tomorrow we’ll release the versions of  NuovaFX and One4All compiled under Build 600.

Finally, let’s talk about the next updates (One4AllForteFX and HART EA being the first ones in our list). Since 45.8% of traders mostly use Build 600 while 38.3% of traders mostly use Build 509 (in other words there is not a clearly predominant Build version being used at the moment) we have decided to release all the future updates compiled on both Build versions 509 and 600. Of course that will be true until Build 509 is definitely discontinued by the brokers.

Thanks again for having taken part in our poll and stay tuned for next updates starting from tomorrow 😉
